Day 48: Sending Sponsorship Letters and Setting foot in Alejandro's

Its the 48th Day of my ICS Volunteering Journey. Early today, we printed the letters in one of the computer shops at Gaisano Country Mall. We are one month away from the camp and now is the best time for us to send sponsorship letters. We are sending letters to the Supermarkets, Restaurants, Water Stations and other Businesses.

We wen't to Mandaue City to send our sponsorship letter to Nature Spring but it was already their lunch break. We decided not to leave the letter and go somewhere for lunch and then go back at 1:00 to personally talk to the person in charge of receiving sponsorship.

When we came back, we had a short talk and they approved our request for 10 gallons of water and they even added 5 more. It was a good start. The place is also very far away from our office that we needed to take 2 jeepneys.

Arriving Gaisano, we had some dessert to cool ourselves and to give us some sugar boost. I so love Jollibee's chocolate sundae. It's very comforting, relieving and refreshing! Others just don't know that it makes me feel so good! :P

We then went to Lahug near JY Square mall to send more sponsorship letters to restaurants. Most of the restaurants aren't used to receiving sponsorship. Most of the businesses also have senior managers making it difficult to send the letters.

Our last stop was in Ayala were we sent one more sponsorship letter to Jollibee hoping that they will approve it. In my experience before, they usually approve it if its submitted a month before the event. 

At the end of the day, even though we were so tired, the reason why were doing this will keep motivating us - it is for our Deaf brothers and sisters. :)
