University of San Carlos
It's the 47th Day of my ICS Volunteering Journey. Janice and I went to the University of San Carlos (USC) and Southwestern University (SWU) today to send letters asking them to provide us a free venue for our fundraising event which is a Short Film Night about the Deaf Community.

We went first to USC since it is nearer our office. We arrived around 11:00AM and ask the front desk in the University on how to book their theater. We were then referred to the USC Law and Business School since the theater is located on that place. We were able to see the place but we we're told by the guard that the Dean is still out and that to book the place, we must go to the person in charge of the library.

We went back to the Front Desk and was told to be back at 1:00 PM since its already their lunch break. We went to the same place where we had our team CAD lunch out - Chinese Ngohiong.

They sell ngohiong which is like a lumpia.
The food is delicious as always. After lunch, we dropped by to visit Glenda who is a famous Deaf graphic artist in Cebu City to ask her if she could help us make the posters for our upcoming events.

While waiting for the clock to strike 1:00PM, Janice and I had some sweet and cool mango share in front of USC. The temperature is high these days especially that we're in the months of April and May.

We went to the library in charge and was referred to the Vice President of the school. Finally, we were able to send the letter and had their phone number for follow up.

After the long process we had undergone in USC, we did proceed to the Southwestern University. One of the Board of Directors of the Gualandi Volunteers Service Programme is Sir Chai who is the assistant Dean of the Graduate Studies. We just left the letter because he wasn't around.

It was indeed a long day and we went back to the office to have a meeting with other CAD Members and Officers for the upcoming camp.
